hours per pay Summary The EPIC Support Site Specialist is part of the Clinical & Quality Services department reporting directly to the EPIC Support Manager. This role essentially functions at the center of 3 entities, Premier Physician Companies, IT (Information Technology), and PIP Business Development, to coordinate the needs of offices and the providers' use of
EPIC EHR.
The position supports both employed and affiliated practices on EPIC. Nature and Scope The EPIC Support Site Specialist will assist practices to develop, optimize, and implement workflow improvements that will standardize the process by which wellness; preventive, acute and chronic care is delivered through the EPIC Electronic Health Record (EHR). The candidate will work to ensure that practices have the support necessary to achieve optimum use of EPIC, and for the implementation of best practice workflows. Qualifications 1. High School Diploma or GED is required. 2. 3 to 5 years of Clinical Medical Office experience is required. 3. Strong knowledge of outpatient office operations and workflows essential. 4. Prior experience in EPIC ambulatory greatly desired. 5. Customer service/account management experience expired. 6. Must be comfortable speaking in front of small and large groups; Exemplary communication skills, required. 7. Strong Computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, required 8. Ability to problem solve/remediate in a highly complex and matrixed environment. 9. Self- motivated to achieve the highest level of patient care and patient experience standards. 10. Valid Driver licenses and dependable transportation as substantial travel to offices across the network is required.
