Job Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Dental Lab Manager to oversee the operations of our dental laboratory. The ideal candidate will possess extensive experience in dental fabrication, prosthodontics, and laboratory techniques, combined with strong leadership abilities. As the Dental Lab Manager, you will coordinate the production of dental prostheses, ensure adherence to quality standards, and manage a team of skilled technicians. Your expertise in digital design, CAD/CAM software, and implantology will be instrumental in delivering exceptional restorative solutions for our patients. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead innovative dental laboratory practices while maintaining compliance with industry regulations and standards. Duties The Dental Lab Manager will oversee all daily laboratory operations while ensuring the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and patient care. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise in implant prosthetics, and experience managing digital workflows and laboratory personnel. Responsibilities Manage all day-to-day operations of the in-house dental laboratory. Lead, train, mentor, and develop laboratory technicians. Oversee production schedules to ensure same-day and on-time case completion. Ensure quality control of all implant-supported prosthetics before delivery. Coordinate with surgeons, restorative doctors, and clinical teams regarding case planning and execution. Manage digital workflows including intraoral scans, CAD/CAM design, and milling.
Oversee fabrication of:
Full-arch implant prosthetics PMMA provisionals Zirconia restorations Implant bars Hybrid prostheses Custom abutments Maintain laboratory equipment, milling machines, printers, furnaces, and inventory. Implement laboratory protocols and standard operating procedures. Monitor laboratory productivity and continuously improve workflow efficiency. Ensure compliance with OSHA, infection control, and laboratory safety standards. Manage vendor relationships and supply ordering. Troubleshoot complex implant cases and collaborate on restorative solutions. Qualifications Required 5+ years of dental laboratory experience. 2+ years of leadership or management experience. Extensive experience with implant-supported restorations and full-arch cases. Strong knowledge of digital dentistry workflows. Experience with CAD/CAM software and digital design. Excellent organizational and leadership skills. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Preferred Experience with Exocad or 3Shape. Experience operating milling machines and 3D printers. Knowledge of photogrammetry workflows. Experience with AOX, All-on-4®, All-on-X, or full-mouth implant rehabilitation. CDT certification is a plus but not required.
Pay:
$60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
