We are hiring a full-time Laboratory Manager! Georgia Highlands College (GHC) is one of the fastest growing in colleges in Georgia. Founded in 1970, GHC has grown to five physical locations, offering over 40 areas of study with associate degree, bachelor's degree, and online degree options. At Georgia Highlands College (GHC) , we don't just educate-we power the future. Our School of Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) is actively recruiting for a Laboratory Manager. The Manager will supervise operations of the STEM instructional laboratories with activities relating to safety, lab procedures and processes, budgeting and purchasing, inventory maintenance, and supervising laboratory staff. This role can spend up to half of their working time instructing courses and laboratories as needed and qualified. The ideal candidate must have a bachelor's degree in a scientific field with six (6) or more years of job-related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. A master's degree is preferred. GHC offers a comprehensive benefits plan which consists of a choice between four (4) health care plans, dental, vision. The hiring salary for this position is $50,000.
