$80,000-$90,000 annually Position Summary Get Well Health Systems is seeking an experienced Lab Manager (MLT/MT) to oversee daily laboratory operations in Jeffersonville, Indiana. The Lab Manager will provide clinical and operational leadership, ensure accurate and timely laboratory testing, maintain regulatory compliance, and support a high-performing laboratory team. Key Responsibilities Manage daily laboratory operations, staffing, scheduling, and workflow. Supervise, train, and evaluate laboratory personnel. Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality laboratory testing. Maintain compliance with
CLIA, CAP, OSHA
, and applicable state and federal regulations. Develop and maintain laboratory policies, procedures, and quality-control programs. Monitor quality assurance and proficiency-testing activities. Maintain laboratory equipment, supplies, inventory, and vendor relationships. Investigate and resolve quality, safety, and operational issues. Collaborate with physicians, nursing staff, administration, and other departments. Maintain appropriate documentation and records for inspections and audits. Promote patient safety, infection control, and laboratory best practices. Qualifications MLT or MT/MLS certification from an accredited organization preferred/required based on applicable laboratory requirements. Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or related field preferred. Previous laboratory supervisory or management experience strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of laboratory operations, quality control, and regulatory requirements. Excellent leadership, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
