Lab Manager Asbury, NJ Infinitek is recruiting for a well-established manufacturing organization seeking an experienced Lab Manager to lead site-level quality operations at its Asbury, New Jersey facility. This role is responsible for driving a strong quality culture within a multi-shift production environment. The Quality Manager will oversee quality systems and laboratory operations, lead quality personnel, and ensure products meet internal standards and customer requirements. Key Responsibilities of Lab Manager Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing Quality team across multiple shifts. Promote a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement throughout the facility. Oversee daily Quality Control laboratory operations, including testing activities, equipment upkeep, and staff training. Ensure all incoming and finished materials are properly sampled, tested, approved, and fully traceable. Maintain and continuously improve the site Quality Management System in alignment with
ISO 9001
standards. Investigate nonconforming material and lead root cause analysis and corrective action efforts. Review daily production quality results and approve material for shipment. Generate Certificates of Analysis for finished products. Manage customer quality concerns and deviation requests to resolution. Support internal and external audits, including supplier and customer audits as required. Participate in management reviews and prepare monthly and quarterly quality performance reports. Support change control processes and product specification updates. Preferred Qualifications & Experience 5+ years of experience in a Lab leadership role within a manufacturing environment ASQ Quality certification or equivalent strongly preferred Strong background in problem-solving and root cause analysis Working knowledge of
ISO 9001
Quality Management Systems Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications Experience with SPC tools (Minitab preferred) Familiarity with Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS) Strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills Key Performance Focus Execution of continuous improvement and defect reduction initiatives Timely completion of quality reporting and analysis Effective resolution of customer quality issues Ongoing development of Quality Control personnel Oversight of quality system compliance and change management This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable manufacturing organization that values quality, safety, and continuous improvement. Pay:
