$64.00 - $72.00 per hour K.A. Recruiting is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) to join a small Critical Access Hospital in the beautiful Eastern Sierra Region of California. This is an excellent opportunity for a licensed CLS looking to work as a true laboratory generalist in a close-knit environment where you'll have the opportunity to make a direct impact on patient care. Position Highlights Full-time, permanent direct hire Competitive compensation: $64.00 - $72.00/hour Generalist laboratory position Discounted hospital apartments may be available Comprehensive benefits package Supportive, team-oriented work environment Opportunity to work across all areas of the clinical laboratory Live in the scenic Eastern Sierra with easy access to Mammoth Lakes, Yosemite National Park, hiking, fishing, skiing, and year-round outdoor recreation Responsibilities Perform moderate and high-complexity laboratory testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Blood Bank, Coagulation, Urinalysis, and Microbiology Analyze, verify, and report patient results accurately and efficiently Perform quality control, calibration, and routine instrument maintenance Troubleshoot laboratory instrumentation as needed Maintain compliance with CAP, CLIA, and hospital quality standards Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care Qualifications Current California Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) License required Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science or a related scientific field Previous hospital laboratory experience preferred Generalist experience strongly preferred Strong communication, organizational, and critical thinking skills Benefits Competitive hourly pay Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance Retirement plan Paid time off and holidays Continuing education opportunities Discounted hospital apartments available for eligible employees If you're looking for a rewarding opportunity in a community-focused hospital where your contributions truly make a difference while enjoying one of California's premier outdoor destinations, we'd love to hear from you.
