Palm Beach Diabetes and Endocrine Specialist, P.A. is seeking a licensed Medical Technologist / Clinical Laboratory Technologist to join our in-house laboratory on a part-time basis. Our laboratory is a COLA-accredited, Moderate Complexity laboratory committed to regulatory compliance, quality assurance, and excellence in patient care. This position offers a stable, consistent schedule in a professional outpatient specialty environment. Position Summary The Laboratory Medical Technologist performs moderate complexity testing in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Immunoassay. The ideal candidate is confident working independently, maintaining quality control standards, and ensuring compliance with CLIA and COLA accreditation requirements.

  • Perform and verify moderate complexity laboratory testing
  • Conduct and document daily quality control procedures
  • Perform calibrations and routine instrument maintenance
  • Troubleshoot analyzer issues and escalate when appropriate
  • Accurately document results in Orchard Harvest LIS and eClinicalWorks EMR
  • Review and release patient results in accordance with laboratory policies
  • Maintain compliance with CLIA regulations and COLA accreditation standards
  • Communicate critical values promptly to providers Qualifications
  • Active Florida Clinical Laboratory Technologist License (Required)
  • Minimum 3 years of clinical laboratory experience
  • ASCP or AMT certification preferred
  • Strong experience in Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, and Immunoassay
  • Knowledge of quality control and regulatory compliance standards
  • Experience with Orchard Harvest LIS preferred
  • Experience with eClinicalWorks (eCW) preferred
  • Phlebotomy skills a plus (not required
