No nights! $2000 Sign on Bonus!!!! We are looking for a qualified Lab Technologist(MT or MLS) or Medical Technician(MLT) to join our high complexity physician office laboratory. We are a private practice Rheumatology office. Our patients are our priority, we provide outstanding care and our entire team is top notch. Phlebotomy proficiency is crucial. Our patients expect the best and we deliver. If you want to work with a group of true professionals, this is the job for you. Responsibilities Collect, label and analyze samples (blood, urine etc.) Execute laboratory testing according to standard procedures, make observations and interpret findings Organize and store all chemicals substances and fluids according to safety instructions Record all data and results in specified forms (paper and electronic) with accuracy and responsibility. Use various forms of electronic health records and information systems. Maintain equipment and assist in ordering laboratory supplies Ensure that all safety guidelines are followed strictly at all times and maintain a clean and orderly environment Skills Proven experience as Lab Technician/Technologist or relevant position Possess excellent phlebotomy skills. Experience in operating electrical and nonelectrical laboratory equipment and potentially dangerous substances (flammable liquids, infectious bacteria, biohazards etc.) Knowledge of CLIA, preventative measures and laboratory best practices Ability to work autonomously and under pressure Valid laboratory technologist/technician/medical lab scientist license Highly organized and efficient. Great communication and organizational skills
