ANDROLOGY & ENDOCRINE MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST OVERVIEW
The Andrology & Endocrine Laboratory Technologist is responsible for performing specialized laboratory procedures that support the diagnosis and treatment of infertility. This position performs diagnostic and therapeutic andrology procedures, endocrine laboratory testing, quality control, specimen cryopreservation, and laboratory documentation while maintaining the highest standards of quality, accuracy, regulatory compliance, and patient confidentiality.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
The job will include evaluation of semen analysis parameters, sample cryopreservation and thawing, as well as intra-uterine insemination (IUI) and IVF sperm preparation. Assist with daily QC of the IVF Laboratory. Assist with daily QC of the Cryo Repository. Responsible for the integrity of frozen samples in LN2. The job will also include measurements of hormone values for patients undergoing fertility treatment. Must possess good communication skills, attention to detail, and dedicated to teamwork and collaboration with colleagues. The candidate should be motivated, enthusiastic, attentive to detail and capable of working independently. Andrology Perform routine diagnostic semen analyses according to WHO laboratory standards Evaluate sperm concentration, motility, morphology, viability, and other semen parameters Perform sperm preparation for intrauterine insemination (IUI) Perform sperm preparation for IVF and ICSI procedures Perform sperm cryopreservation and thaw procedures Maintain accurate sperm inventory and cryostorage records Assist in maintaining the integrity of cryopreserved specimens in liquid nitrogen storage Endocrine Laboratory Perform endocrine hormone testing using automated immunoassay instrumentation Perform calibration, quality control, and maintenance of laboratory analyzers Report and document laboratory results accurately in the electronic medical record IVF Laboratory Support Assist with daily quality control of IVF laboratory equipment Assist with daily monitoring of incubators, refrigerators, freezers, and environmental systems Assist with inventory management and ordering laboratory supplies Assist with laboratory maintenance and documentation Quality Assurance Follow CAP, CLIA, OSHA, FDA, and applicable state laboratory regulations Maintain accurate laboratory records and documentation Participate in quality assurance and quality improvement initiatives Perform routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting Participate in proficiency testing as required Team Communication Adhere to all policies and procedures communicated to laboratory staff. Adhere to non-smoking, dress code and overall practice culture of outstanding patient experience

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree or /Professional Certification in medical technology, biology, chemistry or another related field Ability to pay attention to fine detail. Ability to access, input, and retrieve information from a computer or device Knowledge of office procedures and office machines (i.e., computer, fax, copier, EMR and other related platforms etc.). Work Remotely No Job Type:

Pay:
$27.00 - $35.00 per hour
