This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment, utilizing your skills in diagnostic radiology and specialized imaging techniques. You will perform a variety of radiological examinations, ensuring high-quality images while adhering to safety protocols and technical standards. Your dedication will support accurate diagnoses and contribute to effective treatment plans, all within a collaborative and innovative setting. Duties Operate and maintain a wide range of medical imaging equipment including X-ray. Prepare patients for procedures by explaining the process, positioning them correctly, and ensuring their comfort and safety throughout the imaging process. Apply aseptic techniques to prevent infection during invasive procedures and maintain strict adherence to radiation safety standards. Conduct diagnostic evaluations by capturing high-quality images that meet clinical requirements, ensuring precise visualization of anatomy and physiology. Assist in emergency situations by providing urgent care imaging services in trauma or emergency room settings, including Level I Trauma Center environments. Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams to interpret imaging results accurately and facilitate timely diagnoses. Maintain detailed documentation of procedures, patient information, and equipment calibration records in compliance with regulatory standards. Experience Proven experience working in diagnostic radiology with a focus on medical imaging modalities such as X-ray. Prior involvement in urgent care or emergency room settings is highly desirable, especially within Level I or Level II trauma centers. Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology relevant to diagnostic evaluation. Familiarity with emergency medicine protocols and the ability to perform diagnostic radiology under pressure in high-stakes environments. Experience operating advanced imaging technology with attention to detail for optimal image quality and patient safety. Certification or licensure as a Radiologic Technologist is required; additional specialization in nuclear medicine or mammography is a plus. Strong understanding of aseptic techniques and infection control practices essential for invasive procedures.
