Hardeman County Memorial Hospital requires the services of a Medical Technologist II at its location in Quanah, Texas to obtain specimens from patients and perform established clinical tests and procedures; perform diagnostic and analytic testing of specimens; interpret test results; prepares test reports and maintains permanent records; perform instrument and equipment maintenance and validation procedures; verify analytic accuracy, precision, sensitivity, comparison studies and reference ranges for test methods; and supervise Medical Laboratory Technicians and the Phlebotomist/Lab Assistant in the absence of the Laboratory Supervisor/Director. The Medical Technologist II will work with all patient groups, including geriatric pediatric and trauma. Requires Bachelors Degree in in Medical Technology or related field; two years experience in medical laboratory and high complexity testing; and Medical Technologist (MT) or International Medical Technologist (IMT) Certification.
