Position:
Hospital Medical Laboratory Technologist / Scientist•
Generalist About:
Serving the region for over 43 years 48-bed critical access hospital, 6 clinics, LTC facility
Location:
Population of approx 6,500, about an hour from Anchorage Regional commercial port town Serving the villages and local communities in their region
Summary:
Work under the direction of the Hospital Laboratory Manager Tech is responsible for performing lab tests, quality control, communicate with physicians, nurses and patients. Requirements of the Medical Laboratory Technologist /
Scientist:
Bachelor's degree in medical technology or a related field Board eligible by NCA or ASCP, complete board certification within a year of hire Certification at MT by American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP) or CLS by National Accrediting Agency (NCA) within one year of employment Clinical laboratory instrumentation Hospital Laboratory
  • Generalist Experience 1-3 years' hospital laboratory Generalist experience
  • Haematology, Serology, Chemistry, Microbiology, Urinalysis, Coagulation, Blood bank

Salary:
$90k
  • $120k per annum (40 hour week) $20
