Concierge Physical Therapy

Doctor Physical Therapy - Clinical Educator

Job Description

Clinical Educator - Doctor of Physical Therapy Concierge Physical Therapy is seeking an experienced, highly skilled Doctor of Physical Therapy to serve as our Clinical Educator. This role will lead clinical education, mentorship, and professional development across our growing organization while helping ensure that every clinician delivers consistent, evidence-based, patient-centered care. The ideal candidate is an engaging educator who can translate clinical knowledge into practical application, develop clinicians at different stages of their careers, and strengthen clinical excellence across multiple locations. An advanced clinical certification, such as an Orthopaedic Clinical Specialist (OCS), is strongly preferred. We would ideally like this individual to maintain a small patient caseload to remain connected to day-to-day clinical practice and model the standards being taught. However, we are open to highly qualified candidates seeking a fully education-focused position. Key Responsibilities Clinical Education and Training Develop and lead a comprehensive clinical education strategy aligned with Concierge Physical Therapy's standards, patient-care model, and organizational goals. Create and facilitate clinical training programs, workshops, labs, case reviews, and in-service education. Provide education on evidence-based evaluation, treatment planning, clinical decision-making, documentation, and patient outcomes. Ensure clinical education is practical, engaging, and immediately applicable to patient care. Identify clinical knowledge or performance gaps and develop targeted education to address them. Maintain current knowledge of clinical research, industry standards, and emerging best practices. Mentorship and Clinician Development Provide individual and group mentorship to physical therapists and physical therapist assistants. Support the development of new graduates, emerging clinicians, mentors, and clinical leaders. Partner with clinic directors and organizational leaders to establish individualized development plans for clinicians. Support advanced certification pathways, continuing education planning, and long-term clinical career development. Coach clinicians through complex cases and help strengthen clinical reasoning, confidence, and consistency. Help develop and support a structured clinical mentorship program across the organization. Quality and Clinical Excellence Promote consistent clinical standards and expectations across all clinic locations. Collaborate with leadership to assess clinical performance, patient outcomes, and opportunities for improvement. Support onboarding and clinical integration for newly hired clinicians. Participate in chart reviews, clinical observations, and competency assessments when appropriate. Help define measurable standards for clinical excellence and clinician development. Reinforce a culture of accountability, curiosity, continuous learning, and exceptional patient care. Patient Care Ideally maintain a small, mutually agreed-upon patient caseload. Serve as a clinical resource for complex or specialty cases. Model Concierge Physical Therapy's commitment to one-on-one care, clinical excellence, hospitality, and relationship-driven treatment. Candidates seeking a fully education-focused position will also be considered based on experience and organizational fit. Qualifications Required Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from an accredited program. Current physical therapist license in Massachusetts, or eligibility to obtain licensure. Minimum of five years of clinical physical therapy experience. Demonstrated experience mentoring, teaching, training, or developing clinicians. Strong knowledge of evidence-based orthopedic evaluation and treatment. Excellent presentation, facilitation, communication, and coaching skills. Ability to build credibility and productive relationships with clinicians and leaders at all levels. Ability to travel between Concierge Physical Therapy locations as needed. Preferred Board certification in orthopedics, such as OCS, or another relevant advanced clinical certification. Experience developing clinical education programs or structured mentorship curricula. Experience teaching in a clinical, academic, residency, or continuing education setting. Experience supporting students, new graduates, clinical instructors, or residency-trained clinicians. Experience using clinical outcomes and performance data to guide education and improvement. Previous leadership experience within a growing, multi-site healthcare organization. Ideal Candidate The right person for this role: Is an exceptional clinician who genuinely enjoys helping other clinicians grow. Can challenge people constructively while creating a supportive learning environment. Makes complex clinical concepts understandable and useful. Balances evidence-based practice with real-world clinical application. Is comfortable working with clinicians at different experience and performance levels. Takes initiative and can build programs, systems, and resources—not simply deliver existing content. Believes exceptional clinical care and an exceptional patient experience should reinforce one another. Wants to help shape the future of clinical education within a growing organization. Measures of Success Success in this role will include: Increased clinician confidence, competency, and consistency. Strong participation in clinical education and mentorship programs. Improved clinical outcomes and adherence to organizational standards. Effective onboarding and development of newly hired clinicians. Clear, measurable development pathways for clinicians. Positive feedback from clinicians, clinic directors, and organizational leaders. A sustainable clinical education program that supports growth across all Concierge Physical Therapy locations. Why Join Concierge Physical Therapy? Concierge Physical Therapy is built around one-on-one care, clinical excellence, and meaningful relationships. Our clinicians are given the time and support needed to provide thoughtful, individualized treatment. As our organization grows, the Clinical Educator will have a significant opportunity to shape how we develop clinicians, strengthen our standards, and prepare the next generation of clinical leaders.
