HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
The successful candidate will have deep professional experience managing and implementing ISO quality programs and best practices to promote excellence and continual improvements. This role will have visibility both within and outside the organization. This role will be responsible for all sites and will travel between the locations. Responsible for managing and administering the affairs of programs and standard products. Defines objectives and strategies of the programs and standard products, to include strategic and company objectives consistent with customer and contractual requirements. Developing new programs to support the strategic direction of the organization.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
Manages all NPI programs; project time lines, internal and external CFT planning meetings, budget control and review. Supports Supply Chain, Customer Operation programs and Engineering on Strategic Sourcing initiatives, including CO changes. Monitors and advises on internal and customer meetings from NPI all the way through PRR. Communicates with the customer on all program matters and helps monitor and drive actions to meet customer KPI for our company. Ensures adherence to master plans and schedules, develops solutions to program problems, and directs work of incumbents assigned to program from various departments. Ensures projects are completed on time and within budget. Acts as program team leader regarding projects, tasks, and operations. May manage the work of project/program managers. Drives key corporate Continuous Improvement Programs to ensure progress to milestones, budget, and completion to achieve program goals. Drives key corporate PFMEA programs by providing training and implementing. Perform other related duties as may be reasonably assigned in the course of business. Achievement of objectives must include an over-riding commitment to quality that must permeate the areas of responsibility. Enable and Drive Change in the Organization. WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Bachelor's or master's degree in quality management, Business Management, Engineering, Computer Sciences, business field, or equivalent. 5+ years work experience. Audit/assessment certification required. Using audit and assessment processes, tools, and software packages to gather, integrate and analyze data from multiple sources. Strong analytical, statistics and problem-solving skills. Understanding of industry quality standards and methodologies. Using empirical and root-cause analysis, modeling, and testing methodologies to validate compliance with quality standards. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to effectively communicate quality audit reports and results and negotiate options at management levels. Able to effectively prioritize and handle multiple tasks in a fast paced, dynamic environment. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work with others in a positive and collaborative manner. Proven ability to interact with customers in a way that gains confidence and respect. Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously. Ability to travel (~25%)
