ASAP About the Position Job Title Cytotechnologist Location Cedar Rapids, IA Schedule / Job Type Contract | Days | Onsite Key Responsibilities Screen and interpret cytological specimens to assist in the diagnosis of disease Process and evaluate slides at a rate of 50-60 slides per day (up to 300 slides per week) Operate laboratory equipment including BD FocalPoint and BD SurePath Document findings and maintain accurate records within the EMR system Collaborate with pathologists and laboratory staff to ensure quality and accuracy of results Participate in holiday coverage as required (1-2 of the designated summer holidays) Required Qualifications Graduate of an accredited Cytotechnology program ASCP (CT) certification or equivalent Cytotechnology certificate Minimum of 12 months of hands-on Cytotechnology experience Proficiency with BD FocalPoint and BD SurePath equipment Valid driver's license Must live more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible Preferred Experience / Skills Experience with

EPIC EMR
