Traveling Sedation Dental Assistant (Oral Surgery) — Per Diem WP Dental - 1.0 Arcadia, CA Job Details PRN From $300 a day 1 day ago Qualifications PALS Certification BLS Certification ACLS Certification Registered Dental Assistant Oral surgery Procedural Sedation Full Job Description About the role Solo oral & maxillofacial surgery practice is seeking an experienced sedation assistant to travel with the surgeon to partner dental offices across Southern California (San Diego to Central California). You'll assist chairside on IV sedation cases including surgical extractions, bone grafting, implant placement, and biopsies. This is a great fit for an assistant who likes variety, works well independently, and is comfortable in a fast-paced surgical setting. What you'll do Monitor patients under IV sedation (vitals, capnography, pulse ox) and document per protocol Set up and break down the operatory, surgical trays, and sedation equipment at each office Assist the surgeon chairside during procedures Handle instrument sterilization and inventory of surgical/sedation supplies Travel to different partner offices; help the team get up and running quickly in unfamiliar operatories What we're looking for CA Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant with strong surgical experience DAANCE certification strongly preferred (or willingness to obtain) Current BLS certification required;
