Pediatric Dental Assistant / Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Truckee Pediatric Dentistry | Truckee, CA Truckee Pediatric Dentistry is looking for an exceptional Dental Assistant or Registered Dental Assistant to join our team. We are not simply looking for someone to fill a position. We are looking for a positive, motivated, detail-oriented person who takes pride in doing things exceptionally well and wants to become an important part of our practice. Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) and pediatric dental experience are strongly preferred; however, we are willing to train the right person who demonstrates the attitude, work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to patient care that align with our practice philosophy. About Truckee Pediatric Dentistry Our goal is to create an entirely different dental experience for children and their families. We believe pediatric dentistry should be about much more than fixing cavities. Our focus is on prevention, education, early intervention, and helping children develop the habits and confidence necessary for lifelong oral health. We invest heavily in our team, continuing education, and advanced technology to make dental visits more comfortable, efficient, and positive for our patients. Our practice utilizes technology including Solea laser dentistry, iTero digital scanning, advanced digital radiography and AI-assisted diagnostics, and modern anesthetic delivery systems to continually improve the patient experience. Most importantly, we want every child and parent who walks through our doors to feel that they are being cared for by a team that is kind, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely invested in them. Experience & Qualifications Preferred:
California Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) Pediatric dental assisting experience Experience with digital dental technology and dental practice software Current applicable certifications Don't have extensive dental experience? We are willing to consider and train an exceptional candidate who may not have a traditional dental background. Character, attitude, work ethic, attention to detail, and alignment with our practice philosophy are extremely important to us. Responsibilities May Include Assisting the dentist during pediatric restorative and preventive procedures Preparing treatment rooms and anticipating the needs of the doctor and patient Helping children feel comfortable and confident during their appointments Communicating treatment and preventive recommendations to parents Taking digital radiographs and intraoral images as permitted Digital scanning Sterilization and infection-control procedures Maintaining exceptionally clean and organized clinical spaces Reviewing schedules and preparing in advance for each patient's needs Supporting preventive services and patient education Working closely with our hygienists, assistants, administrative team, and doctors Learning and utilizing the advanced technology incorporated into our practice Why Join Truckee Pediatric Dentistry?
