Gold Dental is seeking a friendly, dependable, and highly motivated Treatment Coordinator / Dental Assistant to join our growing, family-owned dental practice in Macclenny. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced dental professional who is comfortable working both clinically and at the front desk. The ideal candidate will have strong dental assisting skills, experience presenting treatment plans, knowledge of dental insurance and billing, and the ability to build trust with patients. Responsibilities Welcome and check in patients while creating a friendly and professional first impression Assist the dentist chairside during a variety of general dental procedures Present and explain treatment plans clearly and confidently Help patients understand their insurance benefits, estimated costs, and financing options Schedule treatment and coordinate appointments to maintain a productive schedule Follow up with patients regarding recommended treatment and track case acceptance Capture high-quality digital radiographs and maintain accurate patient records Fabricate temporary crowns, including taking impressions, trimming, and polishing provisional restorations Follow proper sterilization and infection-control protocols Collaborate with the clinical and administrative teams to provide seamless patient care Support practice goals while delivering an exceptional patient experience Qualifications Minimum of one year of dental assisting experience required; three or more years preferred Previous experience in a dental front desk, treatment coordinator, insurance, billing, or sales role strongly preferred Dental Assistant Certification preferred, or willingness to obtain Knowledge of dental insurance benefits, billing, and claims processes Ability to confidently present treatment plans and discuss financial arrangements Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Professional, dependable, positive, and team-oriented Strong manual dexterity and chairside assisting skills What We Offer Competitive compensation Bonus opportunities based on treatment acceptance and performance Professional training and growth opportunities Supportive, collaborative team environment Modern, patient-centered dental practice Opportunity to take on additional responsibilities as the practice continues to grow
