Job Description

We are a General Dental Practice that is adding a full-time friendly, multi-tasking Certified Dental Assistant to join our team. Minimum 2-year experience required.
Qualifications:
  • Strong social and people skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Proficient at dental charting
  • Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Self-starter (does not need hand-holding)
  • Applicants must be dependable
  • Scheduling procedures for patient
  • Open Dental (preferred)
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the doctor with dental procedures
  • Take radiographs quickly and efficiently
  • Perform efficient and accurate procedures to help maintain doctors' schedule and patient flow; create no patient wait time; maintain time flexibility for patient; be present, engaged, ready to work
  • Help clean the office and treatment rooms
  • Review patient chart prior to doctor arrival and log appropriate patient data during exam and treatment as well as chart notes in patient chart
  • Have knowledge and understanding of dental terminology sufficient to perform job successfully
  • Verify patient health history, medications, and document appropriately
  • Assist with other office duties including check-in, check-out, answering the phone, and scheduling patients, insurance verification, going over treatment plans with patients

Full-time Pay:
$17.00 - $20.00 per hour
