Main Street Smiles is a premier dental practice offering comprehensive dental, orthodontic, and cosmetic care. We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Dental Assistant with orthodontic assisting experience to join our dynamic team.
Job Description:
As a Dental Assistant with orthodontic assisting experience, you will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists, ensuring a smooth and efficient workflow.
Your responsibilities will include:
Preparing patients for dental, orthodontic, and cosmetic procedures Assisting the dentist during treatments Taking digital dental radiographs (X-rays) Performing routine orthodontic adjustments Assisting with cosmetic procedures such as Botox, Xeomin, lip fillers, PDO threads, and Emface/Exion Sterilizing and organizing instruments and equipment Educating patients on oral hygiene, orthodontic care, and cosmetic procedures Maintaining accurate patient records (Open dental experience a plus, but not req) Some front desk tasks as needed when requested
Requirements:
Minimum of 1 year of dental assisting experience Orthodontic assisting experience a huge plus Proficiency in dental software (OpenDental) is a plus Strong communication and interpersonal skills Timeliness (the practice depends on you being on time!) Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities Detail-oriented and able to work in a fast-paced environment CPR and First Aid certification preferred
