!•We are looking for a qualified Oral Surgery Dental Assistant to join our collective of premier dental practices. The right applicant will have experience preparing oral surgery patients, ensuring that they are comfortable and offering another set of hands for procedures. Assistants must help Oral Surgeons to clearly see problems and changes within a patient's mouth. This often requires taking x-rays of the bone structure of a patient's jaw, as well as taking photographs of the teeth.
Location:
All Family Dental and Braces 1812 N. 19th Ave, Melrose Park, IL 60160 Schedule is Tuesday-Friday 6:30am - 4pm MUST be available for those hours. No schedule exceptions. Responsibilities Help Oral Surgeons prepare for procedures by having the necessary tools sterilized and in place Help keep a patient's mouth clean and dry during procedures and hand the Oral Surgeon the necessary tools at the appropriate time Patient education; explain procedures and discuss treatment progress and plans This position will include all aspects of clinical dental care Requirements Previous oral surgery chairside assisting is required Coronal polishing/sealant, and/or nitrous certified IV Sedation Monitoring strongly preferred Candidate Characteristics Resonate with
