Dental Assistant Float ACCESS Family Care Home Clinic Location:
Carthage, MO ACCESS Family Care is seeking an experienced and flexible Dental Assistant Float to join our dental team. This position is ideal for a motivated dental professional who enjoys variety in their workday, supporting multiple clinic locations, and mentoring new team members. Position Summary The Dental Assistant Float provides clinical support to dental providers across multiple ACCESS Family Care clinic locations. This role requires travel between clinics, adaptability to changing schedules, and a commitment to delivering exceptional patient care. In addition to chairside assisting duties, this position will serve as a preceptor and mentor for newly hired Dental Assistants, helping ensure a positive onboarding and training experience. Schedule Monday through Friday Availability required between 7:00 AM and 6:00 PM Schedule may vary based on clinic staffing and patient care needs Essential Duties & Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials Obtain and document patient information and treatment records Ensure compliance with infection control and sterilization standards Support patient education regarding dental treatments and oral health Travel between ACCESS Family Care clinic locations as needed Serve as a preceptor for newly hired Dental Assistants Provide guidance, training, and support to new team members Collaborate with providers and clinic staff to maintain efficient patient flow Assist with other clinical duties as assigned Qualifications Required Previous Dental Assisting experience Strong knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and infection control practices Ability to travel between clinic locations Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong organizational and time management abilities Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation and valid driver's license Preferred Dental Assistant certification, registration, or applicable credentials Experience training or mentoring team members What We Offer A mission-driven role supporting access to quality dental care across our communities Variety in your work through experience at multiple dental clinic locations The opportunity to mentor newly hired Dental Assistants and contribute to their success A collaborative, team-based environment focused on patient care, safety, and preceptor skills Consistent weekday scheduling with no regular weekend hours Competitive compensation and a comprehensive benefits package Mileage reimbursement for approved travel between clinic locations Paid training and ongoing professional-development opportunities Apply Today If you are an experienced Dental Assistant who enjoys helping others learn, thrives in a dynamic environment, and is committed to providing outstanding patient care, we encourage you to apply for the Dental Assistant Float position with ACCESS Family Care.
Pay:
