We are not a traditional dental practice. Rather than focusing on routine cleanings and preventative care, we specialize in urgent, problem-focused dentistry for patients experiencing tooth pain, dental infections, broken teeth, lost restorations, and other dental emergencies. Many of our patients require same-day treatment and come to us when other dental offices are closed or unavailable. This role is ideal for a Dental Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys helping patients in distress, and can remain calm and professional during emergency situations. You will work closely with our dentists to provide high-quality care, assist with treatment procedures, prepare operatories, take radiographs, and help ensure an exceptional patient experience from arrival through discharge. Responsibilities Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for patient care Assist dentists during examinations and emergency dental procedures Take and process digital dental radiographs Perform chairside assisting for extractions, root canals, crowns, fillings, and other urgent dental treatments Maintain accurate patient records and clinical documentation Sterilize instruments and follow infection control protocols Educate patients on post-operative instructions and treatment plans Monitor inventory and assist with ordering clinical supplies Help create a calm, professional environment for patients experiencing pain or anxiety Who We Are Looking For Previous dental assisting experience preferred Strong understanding of infection control and sterilization procedures Excellent communication and patient-care skills Ability to remain composed and professional during urgent or emergency situations Reliable, dependable, and team-oriented Comfortable working evenings and weekends as needed What We Offer Competitive hourly pay Supportive team environment Opportunities for professional growth and development Consistent scheduling Meaningful work helping patients receive urgent care when they need it most
