Assist chairside during a variety of procedures including implant placement, extractions, crowns, etc. Take dental X-rays and 3D scanners while adhering to HIPAA regulations and radiation safety protocols. Support patient management by scheduling appointments, updating medical history forms, and providing excellent patient care that emphasizes compassion and professionalism. Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by following dental instrument processing protocols and infection control standards aligned with healthcare infection prevention and control expertise. Experience Previous experience working in a dental clinic environment is required. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, dental equipment operation, and terminology is essential for success in this role. Proficiency in using patient management software like Open Dental for scheduling and record keeping is highly desirable. Demonstrated ability to follow clinical confidentiality policies while managing sensitive medical records and documentation accurately. Certification in dental assisting.
