We are looking for a friendly, motivated, and dependable Dental Assistant to join our growing team. The ideal candidate is someone who is compassionate, organized, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoys helping patients feel comfortable and cared for. As a Dental Assistant, you will work closely with the dentist to provide an efficient, seamless patient experience while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care, cleanliness, and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist the dentist during general, restorative, cosmetic, implant, and other dental procedures Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for procedures Take digital dental radiographs as permitted by New Jersey regulations Assist with digital scanning and other dental technology Sterilize and disinfect instruments and treatment rooms according to infection-control protocols Review patient medical histories and prepare patients for treatment Provide patients with pre- and post-operative instructions Help patients feel comfortable, informed, and at ease throughout their visits Maintain organized, well-stocked operatories and monitor clinical supplies Support efficient patient flow and collaborate with the front-office and clinical team Maintain accurate clinical documentation as needed Help uphold Lumina Dental's high standards for patient experience, professionalism, and quality of care
