Dental Assistant — Endwell & Kirkwood Progressive Dental is hiring two full-time Dental Assistants, one for our Endwell office and one for our Kirkwood office. No dental experience? That's okay. We're willing to train the right person. Many of our dental assistants joined our team without prior dental experience and learned chairside with us. As you grow in the role, we'll help you take the next step in your career. Within your first year, we'll enroll you in the NYS Registered Dental Assisting program and cover the cost, providing you with a pathway toward becoming a Registered Dental Assistant in New York State. About Progressive Dental Progressive Dental is a privately owned dental practice with locations in Binghamton, Endwell, Kirkwood, Norwich, and Montrose, PA. We're a modern, digital practice where you'll have the opportunity to learn and assist with a wide range of dentistry, including restorative care, implants, orthodontics, digital scanning, and more. What You'll Do As a Dental Assistant, you'll work closely with our doctors and patients throughout the day.
Your responsibilities will include:
Assisting the dentist chairside during treatments and procedures Preparing patients and treatment rooms Taking digital scans and X-rays Sterilizing instruments and maintaining clinical areas Helping patients feel comfortable and informed throughout their visit Educating patients on oral hygiene and post-treatment care Completing clinical records and lab-related tasks under the direction of the dentist Helping patients understand treatment plans and payment options Scheduling patients' next appointments before they leave What We're Looking For You don't need a dental background to be successful here. We're looking for someone who is: Reliable and dependable Friendly and comfortable working with people Organized and attentive to detail Able to multitask in a fast-paced environment A strong communicator Willing to learn and take on new skills Positive, professional, and team-oriented Able to maintain patient confidentiality Previous dental experience is a plus, but it is not required.
Pay:
$38,000.00 - $42,500.00 per year
