What We Offer Competitive compensation package Supportive work environment with modern facilities and advanced technology Opportunities for mentorship and career growth A diverse patient population and rewarding clinical experiences Responsibilities Patient Care Greet and engage patients with respect and a smile Ensure patients are well informed and comfortable — before, during, and after their appointment — about their treatment and recovery Prepare patients for surgical procedures, including reviewing pre-op instructions and consent forms Clinical Support Assist the surgeon chair-side during surgical procedures Take and process dental radiographs, impressions, and intraoral photos Prepare and sterilize the surgical suite, instruments, and equipment Monitor patients during procedures and assist with anesthesia/sedation protocols as directed Document surgical care services by charting in patients' records Provide post-operative instructions and follow-up care guidance to patients Maintain a clean, sterile, and patient-centric working environment Compliance Maintain strict compliance with state, federal, and other regulations (OSHA, WC, Dental Board, HIPAA, ADA, DOL, Employee Handbook) Requirements 2+ years of practical experience as an oral surgery assistant (or dental assistant with surgical experience) CPR or BCLS certification Completion of a CODA-accredited dental assisting program (preferred) Comfortable assisting with IV sedation/anesthesia procedures Quick learner with strong problem-solving skills Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality Technical/troubleshooting skills for software used in charting, patient records, and scheduling Exceptional written and verbal communication skills Strong interpersonal skills and desire for professional growth Organized, with solid knowledge of dentistry and dental terminology
