Job Description

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, performing dental receptionist duties, and ensuring a clean and sterile environment. If you have excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for patient care, we would love to hear from you.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Perform dental receptionist duties such as scheduling appointments, answering phone calls, and managing patient records
  • Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
  • Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-operative care
  • Maintain a clean and sterile environment by following infection control protocols
  • Perform patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history
  • Utilize medical terminology and coding for accurate documentation
  • Manage and maintain dental records using electronic systems such as
CAD Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Completion of an accredited Dental Assistant program preferred
  • X-Ray certification preferred
  • Knowledge of dental procedures and terminology preferred
  • Proficiency in medical coding and record management
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Ability to work well in a team environment
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively Please note that all positions at our dental practice are paid positions.
