  • Arlington & Everett, WA Full-Time | Approximately 30-36 Hours per Week Alternating 3

Already an experienced orthodontic assistant? We would love to talk with you. No orthodontic experience? We are willing to train an exceptional candidate who has the personality, work ethic, and desire to learn. Our team works alternating 3
  • and 4-day weeks, averaging approximately 14 workdays per month. Typical work hours are 7:00 a.m

We will train the right person. What You'll Do Depending on your experience and training, responsibilities will include: Assisting the orthodontist during patient care Maintaining efficient patient flow and helping the office stay on schedule Placing and removing wires, separators, and elastic ligatures as permitted Preparing teeth for braces and Invisalign attachments Taking diagnostic records, including digital x-rays, photographs, and iTero scans Delivering Invisalign aligners and removable appliances Educating patients and parents about treatment and home care Encouraging patients to follow treatment recommendations Entering accurate treatment notes into our practice management software Preparing treatment chairs between patients Sterilizing instruments and following infection-control procedures Keeping clinical areas clean, stocked, and organized Anticipating the doctor's needs during procedures Participating in morning huddles and staff meetings Sharing responsibility for the practice's after-hours on-call phone Helping other team members whenever needed Creating a welcoming, positive experience for every patient Experience We welcome candidates at different stages of their careers.
New to dental assisting:
If you are personable, dependable, motivated, comfortable working with people, and eager to learn, we are willing to train you.
Dental assisting experience:
Your compensation will reflect your relevant clinical experience and transferable skills.
Experienced orthodontic assistants:
If you have strong chairside orthodontic skills and can step into the position with minimal training, you can expect compensation toward the upper end of our range. Experienced orthodontic assistants are strongly encouraged to apply. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent Excellent interpersonal and communication skills Good computer and keyboarding skills Ability to work in both our Arlington and Everett locations Ability to meet Washington State requirements for dental assistants Dental or orthodontic experience preferred, but not required Compensation $22.00

00 per hour Starting compensation is based on previous orthodontic/dental experience, clinical skills, and ability to work independently. Candidates with significant orthodontic chairside experience and strong clinical skills will be considered toward the upper end of the range .
