We provide dental care to patients between 0 and 21 years, and comprehensive orthodontic treatments for all ages. Our commitment to exceptional care begins with exceptional people. With this goal, we are seeking an experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate is self-motivated, efficient, detail-oriented, team-oriented, and being passionate about dental care. Responsibilities Assist dentist's chair-side during dental procedures. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all necessary supplies are available. Take dental X-rays using digital imaging systems such as cephalometric, panoramic, and intraoral X-ray. Maintain accurate medical documentation in dental EHR systems (Open Dental) while in compliance with HIPAA. Advocate patient care by guiding individuals through the healthcare system, helping them understand diagnoses and manage treatment plans, and offering emotional support. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care to promote overall dental health. Maintain under infection control protocols through aseptic techniques and proper sterilization procedures. Support clinical operations. Qualifications A high school diploma or GED. Active CPR/Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate. Active Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license. Experience as pediatric dental assistant. Experience in orthodontic dental assistance is preferred. Self-motivated, efficient, organized, quick learner, attention to details, detail-oriented, team-oriented, ethical, compassionate. Speaking both English and Hispanic is preferred.
