Job Description

About the Position We are looking for a friendly, dependable, and motivated Dental Assistant to join our dental team. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, and committed to providing an excellent patient experience while supporting the dentist and clinical team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a team environment, and takes pride in delivering high-quality patient care. Responsibilities Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and treatments Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments Take and develop dental X-rays as permitted by state regulations Prepare and maintain dental instruments and equipment Provide patients with pre- and post-treatment instructions Record and update patient information accurately Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinical environment Assist with infection-control procedures and
OSHA/WISHA
compliance Help with patient scheduling and other administrative tasks as needed Communicate professionally and compassionately with patients and team members Follow all office policies and applicable dental regulations Qualifications Previous dental assisting experience preferred Dental Assistant certification/registration as required by state law Current CPR/BLS certification preferred Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Reliable, punctual, and professional Ability to work effectively as part of a team Comfortable working in a fast-paced dental office

Pay:
$20.00 - $28.00 per hour
