Join our team at Scharine Dental in Fremont, Wisconsin, where you will make a difference in people's lives! This private practice has been committed to providing high-quality dental care for many years, in a comforting and positive environment. As a Dental Assistant, you'll be responsible for setting up and cleaning the room for each patient. You will also be required to assist the Dr. with varied dental procedures. Other job duties include but are not limited to sterilizing dental equipment and interacting with patients to ensure they feel comfortable and informed about their treatment. We prefer you have experience with X-rays, dental charting using the EagleSoft software, and have a strong understanding of HIPAA compliance. You will work on Monday and Tuesday from 8 am-5 pm. Wednesday from 8 am-4 pm, and Thursday from 8 am-12 pm. A competitive wage of between $18-$23 per hour is available for the right candidate, depending upon experience. Duties Greet patients warmly and provide exceptional customer service Chart and use dental software (Eaglesoft) Prepare and clean/disinfect the room for each patient Review and update patient medical records while ensuring HIPAA compliance Maintain accurate documentation for treatment plans and notes Assist with administrative support tasks such as maintaining office supplies Excellent communication skills Skills Strong knowledge of dental terminology, medical terminology, ICD coding (ICD-9/10), CPT coding, and care plans Experience with dental software (we utilize Eaglesoft) Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and proper handling of health information Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills Previous experience in medical or dental assistant roles within a clinical setting is highly desirable Knowledge of the use of the CEREC Machine This position offers an opportunity to be an integral part of a dedicated dental team committed to providing exceptional patient care while utilizing comprehensive skills.
