Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Dental Assistant and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! In this energetic position, you will support dentists during clinical procedures, manage patient interactions, and ensure the smooth operation of our dental practice. Your expertise in dental procedures, infection control, and patient management will help create a welcoming environment where patients feel confident and cared for. No Prior training or experience is necessary, we will take the time to train you and help you understand this great field. Responsibilities Assist dentists during a variety of dental procedures, including general dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and pediatric dentistry. Prepare treatment rooms by sterilizing instruments and ensuring all dental equipment is functioning properly according to infection prevention management protocols. Take and develop dental X-rays and 3D scans while adhering to dental x-ray safety standards. Manage patient records using EMR (Electronic Medical Records) systems such as Dentrix or Epic, ensuring accurate documentation of medical history, treatment plans, and medical coding. Provide chairside assistance with four-handed dentistry techniques to optimize efficiency during procedures. Educate patients on oral health care practices and post-treatment instructions while maintaining clinical confidentiality policies. Support infection control practices by following aseptic techniques and dental sterilization procedures diligently. Requirements Excellent communication skills to coordinate with patients as a dental receptionist when needed and provide outstanding patient care. Pay:
