The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care. This role requires a thorough understanding of dental terminology, infection control protocols, and patient assessment techniques. The Registered Dental Hygienist will work closely with the dental team to ensure optimal oral health outcomes for patients of all ages. Our office is a small private practice that prioritizes patient care in a warm and friendly environment. We do not do any accelerated hygiene and provide a low stress working climate. Duties Perform comprehensive dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing teeth Conduct patient assessments, including vital signs and medical history review Take and develop dental imaging as needed for diagnosis and treatment planning Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and treatment option Maintain accurate and detailed documentation Ensure infection control and aseptic techniques are strictly followed Review medical records and documentation to support patient care and dental coding compliance Collaborate with dentist and other team members to provide comprehensive dental care Monitor patient comfort and address any concerns during procedures Requirements Valid state licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist Proficiency with dental software such as open dental, etc. Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, infection control, and HIPAA regulations Skilled in vital signs measurement, dental imaging, and patient assessment Strong understanding of dental terminology, records management, and documentation review processes Previous experience working in dental clinics or offices is preferred This position offers an opportunity to work within a professional team dedicated to delivering excellent oral health services while fostering your career growth in the dental field.
