Job Summary:

We are seeking a Full/Part Time Hygienist to join our office. This is an amazing opportunity to work in a fully fee for service practice. You will have the comfort of seeing only ONE patient per hour, allowing you to treat patients in a relaxed environment. We have a fully up to date office. Duties:

• Perform dental cleanings, including scaling, root planning, and polishing
• Take and develop dental x-rays
• Conduct thorough oral examinations and assess patients' oral health
• Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and provide personalized recommendations for at-home care
• Administer local anesthesia as needed
• Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans and progress notes
• Collaborate with the dental team to ensure efficient and effective patient care

Qualifications:

• Valid Dental Hygiene license in CT
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program
• Knowledge of dental anatomy, oral health conditions, and treatment options
• Proficiency in using dental software such as Dentrix
• Strong communication skills with the ability to educate patients on oral health practices
• Experience working with pediatric patients is preferred but not required We offer competitive pay based on experience and qualifications, and offer a very rewarding compensation structure.
