As a Registered Dental Hygienist, you will provide top-notch dental care that makes our clients feel like family. You will screen patients, perform dental cleanings, and assist the dentists with exams and procedures. The ideal candidate is state-licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist, Local anesthesia certified, and has at least two years of experience. If you're friendly, outgoing, and committed to creating a fantastic dental experience, we want to hear from you! ResponsibilitiesWelcome patients into the treatment area and make them feel comfortableDiscuss the dental care plan with patients and answer any questions they havePrep sterilized equipment and make it available to the dentist for exams and proceduresTake vital signs and accurately record medical historiesPerform preliminary exams and collect oral health historiesEvaluate patients for signs of gum disease, cavities, and infectionRemove plaque and apply fluoride treatmentsTeach good oral hygiene techniques Create dental impressionsTake x-raysAssist dentist during procedures and examsAdhere to all health and safety regulations and office policiesQualificationsAssociate's Degree from a school certified by the Commission on Dental Accreditation, Bachelor's or Master's degree preferredCurrent Dental Hygienist licensureAt least 1-2 years of experience in dental hygieneStrong understanding of HIPAA regulations and all dentistry safety guidelinesAble to stand for extended periods and bend repeatedlyExcellent communication and customer service skills
