Non-Exempt Job Summary:

Molokai Community Health Center (MCHC) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dentist (DDS or DMD) to join our expanding dental program. The Dentist provides high-quality, culturally respectful oral health services to a diverse and underserved patient population. As a key member of our integrated care team, the Dentist plays a critical role in improving the overall health and wellness of the Molokai community.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver comprehensive dental care including diagnostic, preventive, restorative, endodontic, and emergency services. Conduct thorough examinations, develop treatment plans, and educate patients on oral health. Provide care that is patient-centered and aligned with public health best practices. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation using the Electronic Dental Record (EDR). Participate in quality assurance activities and support efforts to meet UDS, HRSA, and NCQA requirements. Engage in community outreach, school-based screenings, and oral health promotion activities as needed. Maintain compliance with OSHA, HIPAA, infection control protocols, and all regulatory standards. Contribute to the growth and sustainability of the dental program within MCHC's integrated care model.

Qualifications:

Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) from an accredited dental school Current license to practice dentistry (DT or CSDT) in the State of Hawaii (or ability to obtain before start date) Current

community service interest welcome Excellent communication, interpersonal, and teamwork skills Commitment to serving rural medically underserved populations Experience working in FQHCs, community health settings, or school-based programs is a plus Familiarity with digital radiography and dental EHR systems (e.g., Dentrix, Athena Dental)
