Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to patients, ensuring their comfort and safety while performing a variety of clinical tasks. This role requires a strong understanding of dental terminology, patient care, and infection control practices. The Dental Hygienist will work closely with dentists and other dental professionals to deliver comprehensive oral health services. Duties Conduct thorough patient assessments, including reviewing medical histories and vital signs. Perform dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing procedures. Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and preventive care. Assist in the documentation review and maintain accurate medical records in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Utilize dental software such as Eaglesoft for patient management Collaborate with the dental team to ensure effective patient care in both general and pediatric dentistry settings. Implement aseptic techniques and infection control protocols to maintain a safe clinical environment. Utilize medical imaging technologies as needed for patient diagnostics. Stay informed about advancements in dental practices and technologies. Qualifications Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist. Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and dental terminology is essential. Familiarity with Eaglesoft systems and documentation review processes is advantageous. Strong skills in patient assessment, care, and education. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while demonstrating excellent communication skills. Experience with pediatric dentistry is a plus. Commitment to maintaining high standards of infection control and patient safety.
