Overview Join our dynamic dental team as a Full/Part time Registered Dental Hygienist and play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care! You'll be responsible for providing comprehensive dental cleanings, assessments, and oral health guidance while ensuring the highest standards of infection control and patient confidentiality. Responsibilities Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing, to promote optimal oral health. Conduct patient assessments by reviewing medical history, vital signs, and current dental conditions. Take digital radiographs (X-rays) using dental imaging equipment while adhering to safety protocols. Take photos using the Daryou intraoral camera for detailed dental images. Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options tailored to their needs. Maintain accurate and detailed medical records and documentation within electronic health record (EHR) systems such as Denticon. Follow infection prevention protocols, including aseptic techniques and infection control measures, to ensure patient safety. Requirements Valid licensure as a Registered Dental Hygienist in accordance with state regulations. Proven experience working with dental software systems like Denticon. Strong knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry. Ability to perform dental x-ray procedures safely and accurately while maintaining HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality. Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and education. Knowledge of infection prevention management and healthcare infection control standards. Prior experience in general dentistry or dental clinic environments is preferred.

$54.00 - $58.00 per hour
