This person will help support our team by performing a wide range of dental procedures.

Modern office setting Growth opportunities Safe work environment Our team is seeking a part-time OR a full-time Dental Hygienist for our Houston, MO clinic . This position allows you to choose a schedule that works for you with available 2, 3, or 4 day work week options. We are looking for a motivated, results-driven professional with strong interpersonal skills who can think independently and act quickly and decisively when necessary. Candidates must possess current licensure, a strong knowledge of local dental procedures and the ability to meet strict hygiene standards. The part-time position will not be eligible for benefits.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the oral health management of all clinic patients. Record patient-hygienist transactions as they occur in the patient's dental record so that the dental record accurately and completely reflects the nature of the contact, the condition of the patient and the care or treatment provided. Provides oral health education and appropriate individual counseling for all center dental patients. Have knowledge of a wide variety of dental procedures. Performs independent procedures as delegated and directed by a dentist in accordance with state regulations and law as well as Dental Department protocol and directive. Travels when necessary to meet operational needs. Potential employees will receive and must pass a drug/alcohol screening before employment can begin.
Qualifications:
Graduate from an accredited school of dental hygiene. Ability to establish and maintain effective professional relationships with fellow healthcare providers. Excellent interpersonal and written communications skills required. Unrestricted license to practice Oral Hygiene in the State of Missouri.
