What We're Looking For The ideal candidate is: Currently licensed as a Registered Dental Hygienist in North Carolina Friendly, professional, dependable, and team-oriented Passionate about providing exceptional patient care Comfortable educating patients about periodontal disease and oral health Confident discussing recommended treatment and the consequences of delaying care Thorough with periodontal charting, clinical documentation, and radiographs Able to recognize and communicate changes in a patient's oral health Comfortable discussing fluoride and other preventive services when appropriate Interested in building long-term relationships with patients Willing to work collaboratively with the doctor and clinical team Positive, energetic, and willing to contribute wherever needed Responsibilities Provide comprehensive dental hygiene services Review and update medical and dental histories Perform periodontal assessments and charting Take diagnostic-quality digital radiographs Provide prophylaxis and periodontal therapy as prescribed Educate patients regarding periodontal health, home care, and preventive dentistry Identify areas of concern and effectively communicate findings to the dentist Support the doctor in presenting diagnosed treatment Maintain accurate and thorough clinical documentation Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection-control, and practice protocols Help create an exceptional experience for every patient Why Join Us?
