Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) Full-Time or Part-Time | Matawan, NJ | $50-$56/hour + benefits About Us We're a well-established dental practice that has proudly served the Central Jersey area for 45 years. Our two-doctor, six-operatory office combines that long history with fully modern technology (Dentrix, digital imaging) and a close-knit, supportive team. Our hygiene department is the heart of the practice — our patients are loyal, long-tenured, and genuinely attached to their hygienists. One of ours is relocating out of the area this fall, and we're looking for the right person to inherit a full, established schedule of patients who show up, value their care, and stay for decades. What You'll Do Provide prophylaxis, periodontal maintenance, and scaling and root planing for an established recall base Take and review digital radiographs; perform periodontal charting and oral cancer screenings Educate patients on home care and partner with our doctors on treatment planning Join an experienced, collaborative hygiene team and supportive clinical staff Help maintain the calm patient experience our practice is known for What We're Looking For Active New Jersey RDH license in good standing (required) Local anesthesia certification a plus Warm, patient-centered chairside manner — our patients are used to feeling cared for, not processed Genuinely positive, team-first attitude — our office culture matters to us as much as clinical skill Thorough, consistent clinical standards with strong periodontal assessment skills New graduates with the right attitude are welcome to apply; experience is valued but mentorship is available Schedule Full-time or part-time (2-4 days) — tell us your ideal schedule and we'll try to build around it Office hours Monday-Friday (closed Wednesdays) Occasional short Saturday mornings (1-2 per month, about 4 hours) What We Offer $50-$56 per hour, based on experience Health insurance, 401(k), and paid vacation for full-time; part-time benefits based on schedule A stable, respectful workplace with long-tenured team members and supportive doctors Modern, fully digital office How to Apply Please submit your resume with a brief note telling us why you'd be a great fit for our team.
