Pediatric Registered Dental Hygienist Brazos Valley Pediatric Dentistry is looking for a part- or full-time Registered Dental Hygienist. Our ideal candidate is seeking fast-paced fun! Routine hygiene duties… Patient screening procedures, to include: Assess oral health conditions, review medical history, chart electronically using Dentrix software, and take blood pressure and pulse.

Radiographs:

Expose and process intraoral phosphor plates, expose digital panoramic images and appropriately store images in patient's digital chart. Apply sealants and fluoride. Teach patients and parents about the value of and ways to achieve oral health. Accurately use Dentrix to enter treatment plans, charting notes, and procedure codes. Sterilize instruments and prepare tray set ups. Participate in all daily, monthly, and quarterly tests and maintenance of patient chairs, sterilizers, and radiology equipment. Perform additional duties as required by the practice to ensure continuity of patient care, to include… Assist with front office duties, such as confirming patients and calling patients who are due for hygiene visits. Set up treatment rooms. Disinfect hygiene patient chairs, set up for and arrive hygiene patients. Required… Hold and maintain a current Texas Registered Dental Hygienist license. Team members will be reimbursed for the maintenance of their required licenses.
