We're looking for an experienced Dental Hygienist to cover one day per week — Mondays, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM — in our relaxed, lower-volume practice setting. Unlike a high-turnover clinic, our pace allows you to spend real time with each patient, build lasting relationships, and practice thorough, unrushed hygiene care. You'll work alongside our dentists to help treat patients, promote good oral health, and support treatment planning for teeth and gum conditions. We're looking for someone with: Solid hands-on experience as a Dental Hygienist Deep knowledge of relevant health and safety regulations A sharp eye for oral disease and anomalies A steady hand, strong bedside manner, and the reliability to build trust with patients of all ages If you're an experienced hygienist looking for a low-stress, one-day-a-week role in a genuinely cozy practice environment, we'd love to meet you.

PM Location:
Little River-Academy, TX Responsibilities Ensure patients feel as comfortable as possible before their examination Sterilize dental instruments properly Conduct initial mouth screenings and check oral health history Identify conditions like gingivitis, caries or periodontitis Clean and help protect patients' teeth (e.g. remove plaque or apply fluoride) Educate patients of all ages on proper teeth care (by demonstrating, for example, good brushing techniques) Give instructions to patients after operations or other dental procedures Take X-rays or dental impressions Assist dentists with selecting appropriate treatments for various diseases (including oral cancer) Maintain documentation and charts on each patient Monitor supplies Skills Proven experience as Dental Hygienist or similar role In-depth knowledge of health and safety regulations in this profession (e.g. HIPAA) Experience in preparing and maintaining dental equipment Outstanding communication skills A patient and friendly personality Attention to detail Stamina to meet the physical demands of the job Diploma in Dental Hygiene Valid license to practice
Pay:
$40.00 - $43.00 per hour
