Duties Assist dental laboratory technicians with the fabrication and finishing of dental prostheses, including complete dentures, removable prosthodontics, and full arch restorations Support chairside assisting during patient procedures, including preparing treatment rooms and managing dental equipment Operate and maintain dental equipment such as microscopes, micrometers, CAD/CAM software, and other laboratory tools with precision Help with digital design processes for dental prosthetics using CAD (Computer-Aided Design) and CAM (Computer-Aided Manufacturing) systems Maintain accurate medical documentation, including medical records, vital signs, and medical coding in compliance with HIPAA regulations Follow infection control protocols and aseptic techniques to ensure a safe environment for patients and staff Assist in the preparation of materials used in dental fabrication, such as ceramics and other lab techniques for prosthetic creation Experience Previous experience working in a dental office or laboratory setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate Familiarity with dental terminology, anatomy knowledge, and medical imaging enhances your ability to support clinical and laboratory tasks effectively Basic understanding of dental equipment operation, digital design software (CAD), and laboratory techniques is advantageous Knowledge of implantology, removable prosthodontics, and complete denture fabrication will help you excel in this role Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for precise measurements using tools like micrometers and maintaining accurate medical records Ability to work collaboratively within a team while demonstrating excellent communication skills in a fast-paced environment This position is ideal for motivated individuals eager to develop expertise in prosthodontics, implantology, ceramics, and digital dentistry.
