Job Overview We are seeking an orthodontic sterilization tech/ records coordinator to join our dynamic orthodontic dental team. The ideal candidates will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care and support during orthodontic procedures. This position requires being able to readily learn new skills and be able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. The Orthodontic Assistant will also be responsible for maintaining compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensuring the highest standards of infection control. Some experience helpful, but will train the right person. Responsibilities Assist orthodontists during procedures by preparing instruments and materials for treatment Take photos and Xrays as needed, ensuring proper safety protocols are followed Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care Ensure the cleanliness and organization of the clinical area, adhering to aseptic techniques Collaborate with the dental receptionist to schedule appointments and manage patient flow Skills Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, and infection control practice Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail Join our fun team and contribute to creating beautiful smiles while advancing your career in a supportive environment.
