Job Description

Sterilization Technician / Dental Assistant Lesan Family Dentistry Position Overview Lesan Family Dentistry is seeking a dependable, organized, and team-oriented Sterilization Technician / Dental Assistant to support our clinical team and help maintain an efficient, clean, and patient-ready environment. This position is ideal for someone with dental assisting experience or previous exposure to a dental setting who enjoys staying organized, supporting a busy clinical team, and helping the day run smoothly. Schedule 4 days per week 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM Key Responsibilities Clean, disinfect, sterilize, and properly store dental instruments and equipment. Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked sterilization area. Follow established infection-control and sterilization protocols. Prepare and organize instrument trays for upcoming procedures. Turn over clinical rooms between patients, including cleaning, disinfecting, and resetting treatment areas. Ensure treatment rooms are stocked with necessary instruments and supplies. Seat patients and prepare them for treatment as needed. Assist dentists during procedures when additional clinical support is needed. Assist dental hygienists as needed to maintain efficient patient flow. Help monitor clinical supplies and communicate when items need to be replenished. Work closely with the clinical team to keep the schedule running efficiently. Maintain a professional, welcoming, and patient-focused environment. Qualifications
DA I, DA
II, or previous dental knowledge and/or experience. Familiarity with dental instruments, terminology, and clinical procedures preferred. Understanding of sterilization and infection-control procedures preferred. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced dental environment. Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to assist wherever needed. Strong communication and teamwork skills. Comfortable interacting professionally with patients, doctors, hygienists, and other team members.
