Job Overview About the
Position:
Brunswick Orthodontics is seeking a detail-oriented and tech-savvy individual to join our growing clinical team as an Orthodontic Lab and Records Technician. This specialized role focuses on the essential "behind-the-scenes" lab work and the precise gathering of diagnostic records. By mastering our digital systems and lab protocols, you will play a critical role in streamlining patient care and supporting our clinical assistants in providing a world-class experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Diagnostic Records & Imaging
  • Capture high-quality intraoral and extraoral clinical photographs.
  • Acquire digital diagnostic images, including Panorex and Cephalometric X-rays.
  • Perform precision digital scans using intraoral scanners.
  • Ensure all diagnostic data is accurately uploaded and organized within the practice management system. Laboratory & Technical Operations
  • Manage the fabrication of orthodontic retainers.
  • Operate and maintain 3D printing equipment for model production.
  • Pour and trim orthodontic models with high attention to detail.
  • Maintain the orthodontic lab in a clean, organized, and efficient manner. Clinical Support & Sterilization
  • Lead the sterilization process for clinical instruments, adhering to all safety and OSHA protocols.
  • Assist with clinical bay turnover to ensure a seamless flow between patient appointments.
  • Participate in daily "Morning Huddles" and end-of-day huddles to coordinate team efforts.
