Dental Laboratory Full Technician
to join our team. This hands-on position is responsible for fabricating
full and partial dentures from start to finish
, including tooth setup, waxing, wire bending, processing, finishing, repairs, and relines. The ideal candidate is an experienced
Dental Laboratory Technician, Full Denture Technician, or Denture Technician
who takes pride in producing high-quality dental prosthetics. Candidates should be detail-oriented, organized, comfortable working with their hands, and able to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented dental laboratory.
Job Summary
The
Dental Laboratory Full Technician
is responsible for performing the major stages of full and partial denture fabrication while maintaining established quality and production standards. This position requires hands-on experience with
. The Full Technician may also provide temporary support as an
Associate Lab Manager
when the manager is absent.
Key Responsibilities
+ Fabricate
full and partial dentures from start to finish
. + Set denture teeth according to case requirements. + Complete denture waxing and wax-ups. + Bend wire for removable dental prosthetics. + Process, finish, and polish dentures. + Perform
denture relines and repairs
. + Fabricate
occlusal rims and custom trays
. + Inspect completed cases for quality, accuracy, and proper finish. + Maintain established laboratory quality and turnaround-time standards. + Periodically serve as
Associate Lab Manager
in the manager's absence. + Follow
OSHA protocols and dental laboratory safety procedures
. + Cross-train in all areas of the dental laboratory as needed. + Collaborate with laboratory team members to complete cases accurately and efficiently. + Maintain a clean and organized laboratory workspace. + Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications
+ •High School Diploma or equivalent•.
+ Professional experience
fabricating dentures from start to finish
. + Hands-on experience with full and partial denture fabrication. + Experience with denture setup, waxing, processing, and finishing. + Ability to successfully complete a
hands-on dental laboratory bench assessment
. + Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship. + Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented dental laboratory. + Availability to work
full-time, Monday through Friday
, during normal laboratory and practice business hours.
Preferred Qualifications
+ •Same-day denture experience•is a plus, but not required.
+ Experience with removable dental prosthetics. + Experience performing denture repairs and relines. + Experience fabricating occlusal rims and custom trays. + Experience working across multiple areas of a dental laboratory.
