We are looking for a detail-oriented Orthodontic Lab Technician to join our team and help create high-quality orthodontic appliances that support outstanding treatment outcomes. Responsibilities Take photos, x-rays, and 3D scans. Take impressions, pour, trim, and prepare dental models. Create clear retainers, Essix retainers, and bleaching trays. Maintain quality control standards to ensure accuracy and proper fit. Organize and prioritize laboratory cases to meet daily production deadlines. Communicate with doctors and clinical team members regarding appliance design and adjustments. Maintain laboratory equipment and ensure a clean, organized work environment. Monitor inventory of laboratory materials and notify management when supplies need replenishing. Follow OSHA, HIPAA, infection control, and safety protocols. Qualifications Previous orthodontic or dental laboratory experience preferred. Experience fabricating orthodontic appliances is strongly preferred. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to work independently while collaborating with the clinical team. Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment. Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow. X-Ray certification required and must have attended a dental assisting course Preferred Skills Experience working with orthodontic acrylics. Knowledge of thermoforming equipment. Familiarity with digital orthodontic workflows and 3D scanning is a plus. Ability to troubleshoot appliance issues and recommend solutions. What We Offer Competitive hourly pay based on experience.
